Phonto supports only English (US), Chinese and Japanese, so when the priority of Chinese (or Japanese) in your setting was higher than English, Phonto would be launched as Chinese (or Japanese) mode.

To solve this problem…
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Choose 'English' in 'General' > 'Language & Region' > 'iPhone Language'.
3. Turn back your 'iPhone Language' to your favorite language.

HOW TO INSTALL FONTS

Using iTunes, you can copy font files between your computer and Phonto on your iOS device.

1. Select your iOS device from the Devices section of iTunes.
2. Click the Apps tab and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3. Select "Phonto" in the "File Sharing" section.
4. Drag and drop .ttf or .otf font files into "Documents".
5. Restart Phonto.

I love Phonto!!

I love Phonto so much. I have and will recommend this to friends until i run out of breath. For mobile editing, Phonto is literally a top 3 app. Like it's literally essential for photo editing. Anyway, back to business. Don't let my five stars fool you, there ARE things to be done, but regardless this app is unmatched. I have one request and one bug fix to discuss. We'll start with the bug. Small bug but still worth fixing. When I am in the color pattern menu and I've decided on my pattern, when I click "Done" the app acts like I clicked the button next to it where it prompts a screen that asks me to choose between ombré or character-by-character patterns. In order to successfully leave the color pattern screen I have to click the edge of the screen, past the done button lol. Also, I would like to request something. It would be very very VERY helpful to insert a feature into the app where we can create folders for our fonts (fonts can be in multiple folders btw). It just helps a lot when you have a ton of fonts in your library. Thanks for reading! Much love. 💗

A great font app FINALLY

For years I used font candy, and I had the paid version, they then switched to a subscription basis and did not honor all the People who had paid for their app. And it was more than just a few dollars. It was close to $30/month! For a font app! I've tried so many different apps and finally came across this one. It was a little confusing to use at first but now that I have the hang of it, this app is WAY better than anything I have ever tried. I love that most of the features are free and they don't make you pay to remove a watermark.... that was one of the big selling points for me. I hate when a company forces you to pay to remove a watermark. Phonto also provides some simple backgrounds to use so that you don't have to look up "plain white background" like I used to all the time lol. Overall I would tell everyone to use this app because you can do some amazing and cool things. I feel like a graphic designer using this (even tho I know nothing about any of it)

A few suggestions! Great app!

There's a few things I would love to see in this app. Firstly the ability to save a draft of work!! I can't tell you how many times I was multitasking, received a call or anything and I go back to this app and my work is gone. Of course we have restore previous state but that only works so well. If my phone dies then that's gone. And if I save the work into a picture file the content is no longer movable. The second thing I would love to see is that when we start from a plain photo that the background be actually pure white and not almost there. What I mean is that the values begin at 250,250,250 which is almost there. But when I click on the white color box the values change to 255,255,255. If the values could start there for a white plain photo that'd be awesome!! Otherwise I love the ability to create in this app and all the fonts I have accumulated! Thank you!!
